Inaugural events announced for Governor Asa Hutchinson’s second term

A two-day inaugural celebration will mark the beginning of the second term of Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson.

“Together for Success” is the inaugural theme as Governor Hutchinson and First Lady Susan Hutchinson celebrate the achievements of the first term and look ahead to the opportunities of the second term to make Arkansas one of the nation’s most desirable places to live and work.

The first official event will take place on Monday, January 14, with a casual “Red, White & ’Cue” family-friendly event for friends and supporters.

On Tuesday, January 15, Governor Hutchinson will receive the Oath of Office at 10:30 am in the House Chamber and deliver his public inaugural address at noon from the front steps of the Arkansas State Capitol. The day will end with the “Together for Success” Inaugural Ball at the Statehouse Convention Center.

Dave and Sarah Hutchinson Wengel are co-chairs of the 2019 Inaugural Committee.

“Sarah and I were delighted four years ago to help usher in ‘A New Day in Arkansas,’” said Dave Wengel. “We’re equally thrilled in 2019 to celebrate the accomplishments of the first four years and to help advance the Governor’s desire to work ‘Together for Success’ in the second term.”

Details on the Hutchinson Inauguration, including a list of scheduled events and ticket purchasing, are available at HutchinsonInauguration.com.
